Hope you’re doing well! Today I’m sharing an easy Hemp Berry Banana Smoothie Bowl recipe. Have you ever tried hemp seeds or hearts? They’re a fantastic way to get in your extra protein and Omega 3s and 6s! Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are essential for two purposes respectively: for cognitive and behavioural function and reduction of low-density cholesterol. So it’s important you’re getting your fill of these fatty acids.
For this recipe, I’m using hemp seeds by Manitoba Harvest. I’m actually now a brand ambassador for their company which is very exciting because I’ve always used their products in the past. I’m also using almond milk by Earths Own Canada. Also in my smoothie bowl are frozen cherries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, frozen bananas, and organic spinach (make sure to buy organic spinach as non-organic is heavily sprayed with pesticides). I’ve topped this bowl with fresh mint, pitaya and more berries!

HEMP BERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
Serves 1 bowl | Ready in 10 mins
1/4 cup organic frozen blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries
1/4 cup organic frozen strawberries
1/4 cup fresh organic raspberries
1/4 cup organic spinach
3/4 cup Earth’s Own almond milk
2 tbsp Manitoba Harvest hemp seeds
2 frozen organic bananas
Required: High power blender
Pitaya or dragon fruit balls
Fresh mint leaves
Blend all your smoothie ingredients together. Pour into a bowl.
Top off with all the suggested toppings. Enjoy!
