    Raspberry Nice Cream

Raspberry Nice Cream. A dairy-free iced cream made with frozen bananas and raspberries. The perfect cooling treat that is totally vegan.

    Raspberry Nice Cream

What’s “Nice Cream”?  Well, it’s dairy-free iced cream using frozen bananas as the “cream” base blended with nut-milk, vanilla extract and frozen raspberries. So since it's dairy-free and doesn't require the use of animal products, it's called "Nice Cream".

Now for all you skeptics out there who are wondering how Nice Cream could replace Ice Cream? Well I’d encourage you to try it and tell me what you think.

This quick raspberry ice cream tastes almost like the real thing without that the dairy aftertaste. The great thing is that you can swap out the main fruit with whatever fruit you fancy. You could even make a chocolate or matcha nice cream by simply adding some cocoa or matcha powder.

The colour of raspberry ice cream is also so beautiful, like a pale pink shade! And the great thing about this dessert is it's all natural colouring thanks to the raspberries.

I also share a couple other ice cream recipes below so don't foget to check them out!

    For this recipe

You will need the following ingredients for my vegan raspberry ice cream:

    Ingredients

    • 2 bananas peeled, sliced & frozen
    • ⅓ cup frozen raspberries
    • ⅓ cup of vanilla nut milk of your choice
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • Required: Food processor

How to make raspberry ice cream

In a food processor, blend all the ingredients until smooth.  Serve immediately or if you like it very cold, scoop it into a reusable container and freeze it for 3-4 hours. Enjoy!

    Tip

Instead of buying frozen fruit, I actually just purchase organic bananas and berries from the produce aisle. I will wash, dry and freeze them in air tight containers. I also will do this with any leftover fruit in my fridge to reduce on food waste.  By doing this, you're saving money too by doing this as frozen organic fruit is heavily marked up.

    Give it a try!

Well I hope you give my Raspberry Nice Cream recipe a try! It always excites me when you guys make my recipes and I hope this is one you try.
