I love breakfast taters because there is something so savoury and hearty about having well-seasoned crispy potatoes in the morning.

My spiced breakfast potatoes are also very easy to make from the comfort of your own rather than buying the store-bought kind that may not contain wholesome or clean ingredients.
For my spicy breakfast potatoes, you don't even have to peel the potatoes, just dice them up, season with oil and the spices and pop them into the oven!

For these homemade breakfast potatoes, I am using Red organic potatoes EarthFresh, organic spices and organic olive oil.

For this recipe
You will need the following ingredients for my breakfast tater tot hash browns:
- Â 7 medium Red Potatoes, unpeeled and small diced
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 - 4 tbsp. organic olive oilÂ
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp chili powderÂ
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
Required: one – two lined baking sheets
How to make Spicy Breakfast Potatoes
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Small dice your potatoes.Â
- Add potatoes onto a lined baking sheet. Season with spices and oil. Using your hands, massage the spices and oil into potatoes until evenly coated.
- Spread taters on a baking sheet in a single layer ensuring there is space between each one. You may need a second baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes until crispy and golden, flipping them over at halfway point baking them for another 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Serve immediately and enjoy!
