Today I’m sharing a vegan Avocado Hummus recipe that is really easy to make and you may have all the ingredients already! This hummus is so creamy, fluffy and delicious. It only takes less than 15 minutes to make and you won’t need to buy store bought hummus that could contain preservatives in it. Hummus is usually made with chickpeas.
Nutritional Fact! Did you know chickpeas are a rich source of protein? Protein has many health benefits, such as weight management to bone health. Chickpeas are a great choice for individuals who avoid animal products. They are also rich in fiber as well which is needed for proper digestive health.
I am also serving my hummus with fresh vegetables and crackers on a crudités board. Crudités Boards can be a beautiful, healthy and easy way to also entertain your guests for the upcoming holidays! My tip in making a crudités board is having lots of different colours and organizing your vegetables, fruits or crackers in a neat manner. I would also recommend segregating the different components like how I did in the picture above. Pinterest or Instagram are great places for inspiration if you search up the #cruditesboard! Most importantly have fun with it.
On my board, I’m serving a variety of vegetables with some berries and one of my favourite snacks, Cauliflower Crisps by Hippie Snacks Organics. They are delicious, plant based and a healthy snack. I’m thrilled to be working with them on this post as they’re also a Canadian certified B corporation that balances between purpose and profit prioritizing social responsibility and the environment.
I hope you enjoy this recipe, please share it with your family and friends or on social media! If you make recipes, take a picture of it and tag me on Instagram @christieathome in your feed or stories so I can share your creation in my stories with credits to you!
