Vegan Herb Garlic Bread. Delicious with that garlicky herb taste over a chewy baguette. This takes less than 30 minutes with a store-bought baguette.

    vegan herb garlic bread

The taste of the chewy bread with those intense garlicky herb like flavours soaked into each side with butter is PURE HEAVEN. I highly recommend trying this recipe!

You just need some herbs, vegan butter and day old baguette from your bakery for this garlic herb bread recipe.

This easy garlic herb bread is great as an appetizer or as a side dish because it can be shared. Or hey maybe it's a snack! It's just so darn delicious.

You will need the following ingredients for this vegan herb garlic butter bread:

    • 1 large baguette (buy a wider bun, avoid the thin kind)
    • ½ cup fresh basil, chopped
    • ½ cup Italian parsley, chopped
    • ¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
    • 6 garlic cloves, minced
    • ½ cup vegan butter melted
    • 1 tsp salt

Required: baking sheet + parchment paper

I’m also using organic basil, parsley and chives along with vegan butter by Earth Balance and a thick baguette from Ace Bakery.

How to make vegan herb garlic pull apart bread

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped basil, parsley and chives, melted butter and salt. Set aside.
    3. Diagonally cut slices into your baguette but not all the way through. Lay baguette onto a large wet piece of parchment paper (enough to wrap the whole baguette later to re-moisten in the oven).
    4. Spoon 1 tbsp of herb garlic butter mixture between the slices, repeat. Massage into the baguette until well coated. Roll up the ends of the parchment paper until sealed.
    5. Bake in the oven on baking sheet for 20 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
