Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup kimchi sliced into bite size pieces
  • 1 ½ cups chicken stock or vegetable stock or anchovy stock
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • ¼ cup kimchi juice from the kimchi jar
  • 2 green onion cut into 1 inch long pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or any neutral oil
  • 1 can canned tuna in oil, strained

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, sauté kimchi, garlic and onions in vegetable oil until onions soften.
  • Then pour in stock, kimchi juice and half of the green onions to the pot. Bring to a boil on high heat and reduce to a rolling simmer on low medium-heat for 15 minutes covered.
  • Remove the pot off the stove and top off with the remaining green onions and strained canned tuna. Enjoy with steamed rice!
