Easy Apple Cinnamon Wontons

Apple Cinnamon Wontons. Crispy baked wontons filled with apples coated in cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg. It's a delicious and fun dessert to make. These are also vegan.

  • Slice your unpeeled apples into matchsticks and then finely dice them. This is important to ensure you can wrap the filling without breaking the wonton wrapper.
  • Place the apple into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cornstarch and mix well.
  • Place a heaping ½ tablespoon of the filling in the center of the wonton wrapper.
  • Lightly wet the edges of your wrapper.
  • Fold the wrapper into a triangle and seal the edges by pinching them together.
  • Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees F. Place your wontons on a lined baking sheet. Lightly brush milk over your wontons.
  • Bake for 14-15 minutes until golden brown. No need to flip over.
  • Optional: While the wontons are still hot, lightly brush some oil over top to make them look shiny.
