Maple Soy Glazed Tofu. Extra firm tofu glazed in a simple maple syrup soy sauce. A delicious plant-based protein that is easy to make and works well as a side dish. Great for dinner or lunch. Works well as leftovers too.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams smoked tofu sliced ¼ inch thick

Maple soy tofu marinade:

  • In a resealable container, add sliced tofu, garlic, ginger powder, soy sauce, avocado oil, sesame oil, and black pepper. Seal with lid and marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
  • In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup and water.
  • In a skillet set over medium heat, fry tofu on both sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes each side. Once golden brown, lower heat pour maple syrup mixture over top and allow it to simmer for 1 minute. Serve hot with rice and veggies, enjoy!
