Spicy Rothy Korean Wide Glass Noodles

Spicy Rothy Korean Glass Noodles. Wide, flat, chewy glass noodles smothered in a hot, spicy Korean red pepper sauce. Easily made with just two ingredients and very convenient for a quick meal. Especially for a weeknight meal with any toppings you fancy. Ready in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 192 grams Rothy Korean Glass Noodles (or 1 pack)
  • 2 packets Red Powder Sauce Packet for less spicy version, use 1 packet
  • Water for cooking

Suggested Optional Toppings:

  • Hard boiled or soft-boiled eggs
  • Cheddar cheese shredded
  • Korean rice cakes
  • garlic minced
  • green onion
  • Fish cakes
  • Fried tofu balls
  • Vienna sausages
  • Sliced sauteed Pork belly

Instructions
 

  • Follow the packet instructions by bringing a medium pot of water to a boil. Then add the noodles and boil them for 5 minutes. Strain the noodles of water.
  • Then in another small pot, boil 400 ml water with 2 packets of the red powder sauce. Mix the water and powder together. When it begins to boil, add the Rothy glass noodles. Stir and boil for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy hot!
