Garlic Butter Shrimp Udon. Buttery udon noodles swimming in a garlic chive butter sauce accompanied with bouncy chewy shrimps. Flavourful, indulgent, simple and totally delicious. This is a meal that comes together in 20 minutes and will truly hit the spot. This garlic udon noodles recipe only requires 7 ingredients.
In a large pot filled with water set over high heat, bring it a boil. Then carefully lower your frozen udon noodles to blanch. Once loosened, strain immediately in a colander and set aside.
In the same pot set over low heat, add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add your thinly sliced garlic and fry just until fragrant.
Once the garlic is fragrant, quickly and carefully add in your peeled shrimp. Fry on both sides until pink and curled, about 3-4 minutes. Next add in your butter and let it melt. Mix everything together.
Lastly throw in your udon noodles and fresh chopped chives mixing everything together. Once mixed, remove off heat immediately and serve.
