Ingredients

  • 1.65 lbs udon noodle frozen kind
  • 12 jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 cloves garlic peeled and thinly sliced
  • cup chives finely chopped
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a large pot filled with water on high heat, bring it a boil. Then carefully lower your frozen udon noodles to blanch for 20 seconds. Once loosened, strain immediately in a colander and set aside.
  • In a large pan on low-medium heat, add olive oil.  Add sliced garlic and fry for 10 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Increase to medium heat. Fry shrimp on both sides, until pink and curled - about 2-3 minutes. Next add in your butter and let it melt. Mix everything together.
  • Lastly toss in strained udon noodles and chopped chives and mix well. Once mixed, remove off heat immediately and serve. Season with salt.
