Easy Earl Grey Milk Tea Pudding

Earl Grey Milk Tea Pudding. A sweet pudding with a jiggly texture packed with earl grey tea flavors. Easy to make with simple ingredients. This Asian dessert can also be made dairy-free with vegan milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk or sub with any vegan milk
  • 2 teaspoon loose leaf Earl Grey tea or sub with 2 earl grey tea bags
  • 2 tablespoon condensed milk or sub with condensed coconut milk for a vegan version
  • ½ teaspoon agar agar powder

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, add milk, earl grey tea leaves and condensed milk. Bring to a simmer on medium heat and let the tea to steep with the milk. Once the milk turns brown, strain the milk tea of the tea leaves. Return the liquid to the pot and give it a mix.
  • Whisk in agar agar powder. Bring to liquid to a boil and remove off heat immediately. This must reach boiling point to activate the agar agar powder.
  • Pour liquid into a small bowl or mold.
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 3-4 hours until the pudding has set. Serve cold and enjoy!
