Shrimp Bok Choy Noodles (30-min. Recipe)

Shrimp Bok Choy Noodles. Savoury scallion oil noodles stir fried with bok choy with shrimp. A great midweek meal for dinner or lunch.

  • Non-stick pan


  • 15-20 head-on unpeeled shrimps
  • 2-3 cups baby bok choy peeled into leaves
  • 400 grams spaghettini
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 cup scallions chopped
  • cup water
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil


  • Boil spaghettini to Al Dente for 5 minutes or according to package instructions. Do not overcook them. Strain and set aside.
  • In a hot pan set over medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil and fry your shrimp until cooked through. They should be pink throughout and the shrimps should curl. Remove the cooked shrimp and set aside.
  • Into the same pan, add oil, garlic, scallions and bok choy. Fry until soft.
  • Add cooked spaghettini followed by water and mix.
  • Lastly add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil and maple syrup. Mix into noodles until well coated.
  • Transfer the noodles onto a serving plate and then place the shrimp over top. Enjoy!
