  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms cut into quarters
  • 2 green onions cut into 2-inch-long pieces
  • ½ large onion julienned
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or any neutral oil

Beef Marinade

Stir-Fry Sauce

Instructions

  • Slice the beef against the grain at a 45-degree angle into ¼-inch-thick strips. Transfer to a large bowl.

  • In a small bowl, whisk the stir-fry sauce ingredients as listed above and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook the beef until just cooked through and lightly browned on the edges, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the onions and mushrooms until just softened, about 2 minutes. Add the sauce and simmer until slightly thickened, about 30 seconds.
  • Return the beef to the pan with the green onions. Toss until evenly coated, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
