Ultra-tender chicken thighs are coated in a rich, deeply savory soy sauce glaze. This easy soy sauce chicken recipe is made in one pan and ready in just 30 minutes.
Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the honey fully dissolves. Set aside.
Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 2 minutes without moving. Flip and sear the other side for another 2 minutes.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 7 minutes.
Flip the chicken thighs skin-side down, cover, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 165°F without touching the bone.
Turn the chicken thighs skin-side up and spoon the sauce over them several times. Remove from the heat and garnish with green onions.
