Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 4 medium strawberries with stems removed
  • 2.5 tablespoon white granulated sugar or sub with honey or maple syrup
  • 1.5 teaspoon matcha
  • 4 tablespoon water boiling hot
  • 8 ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • In a tall glass, add strawberries and white granulated sugar and crush them with a muddler until they’re pureed. If you don’t have a muddler, finely chop or purée the strawberries in a blender and mix them in the glass with the sugar.
  • Then add ice cubes on top of the puréed strawberries.
  • Pour milk over the ice and set aside.
  • Then sift matcha powder into a small bowl. Add hot boiling water to the matcha and whisk until frothy for 30 seconds.
  • Pour the matcha liquid over the milk. Stir to enjoy!
