Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk or plain oat milk for a dairy-free option
  • 2 bags Earl grey tea or 2 teaspoon / 4 g of earl grey or lady grey loose-leaf tea leaves
  • 2 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk or condensed coconut milk for a dairy-free option
  • ½ teaspoon agar agar powder or 1.5 teaspoon gelatine powder

Instructions

  • First in a small pot, add milk, earl grey tea bag and sweetened condensed milk. Bring to a simmer on medium heat, then reduce to low heat, cover and steep for 1 minute until the milk turns brown. If needed, strain the milk tea through a tea strainer to remove any escape tea leaves.
Return the liquid to the pot and give it a mix.
  • Then whisk in agar agar powder and bring to liquid to a boil for 60 seconds to activate the powder. Remove off heat.
  • Next quickly pour the hot liquid into one small bowl or mold.
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 3-4 hours until the pudding has set. Serve cold with fresh fruit and enjoy!
