Earl Grey Milk Tea is a creamy hot beverage made of milk, sugar and earl grey tea leaves. It's absolutely delicious and delightful!
The earl grey tea leaves are steeped in the hot milk for a bit longer than your normal tea and sweetened with sugar. What gives earl grey tea its iconic flavour is the citrusy bergamot orange oil.
This is the perfect hot drink to cozy up to when the cold weather hits. Many bubble tea shops will sell this hot beverage with bobas and it can also be served cold with ice cubes.
I often make this hot drink when I'm craving something warm and sweet. This drink was inspired by the iconic Hong-Kong style milk tea served at many Hong-Kong style cafés, also known as "cha-chang-teng" in Cantonese.
