I just tried this for the first time! I made it warm, in the microwave for 1.5 minute and it's so comforting in the cold weather of October New England! I'll make it again for sure, and I can't wait to try the iced version.

If you want to make a warm turmeric latte, you should firstly take approx 1 tsp of turmeric and make a paste with hot water( this will dissolve the turmeric much better). Place milk into the bowl/cup with the paste and stir. Heat all together, (optionally adding sweetener such as honey etc) preferably on a coffee machine or pot, but a microwave will work as well. Heating turmeric with the milk will eliminate unwanted texture, improve flavour and make a yummier drink!! Pour in mug and ENJOY!!

I tried this recipe today and it was SO GOOD! I didn’t have maple syrup, so I swapped it for agave. I’m also really caffeine sensitive so this was perfect!

I made this today with soy milk. It was amazing! Didn’t have any cinnamon left (I know it’s unthinkable) so I used pumpkin pie spice. Same effect. For someone who is caffeine sensitive, this is my new fave. Thanks so much!
