Watermelon Milk. A delicious sweet vegan 3-ingredient milk. Naturally flavoured with watermelon and your sweetener of choice. Perfect as a refreshing beverage!

When I first heard of watermelon flavoured milk, I was delighted because watermelon is one of my favourite fruits.

It's a beverage that is sold in Korean, Japanese or Taiwan. It's also known as Taiwanese Watermelon Milk (Xigua Niu Nai), Korean Watermelon Milk, or Japanese Watermelon Milk.

    watermelon milk

Usually their beverage is packaged in box and sold at convenience stores. Of course their version usually contains a lot of preservatives to keep it on the shelf for long. So I decided to create a version that is all natural, delicious and SO EASY to make you'll be laughing.

All you need for this watermelon and milk recipe is a blender. If you don't have a blender, you can mash the watermelon by hand but it'll take awhile. An immersion blender would also work as well!

    watermelon milk

My watermelon and milk recipe is really delicious and not too sweet! It's just perfect as long as you use a sweet watermelon. If you don't, it may not be as sweet and you may need to rely on the maple syrup to make it sweeter.

I would also not suggest using dairy milk for this recipe. Instead, use a plant based milk like oat milk, soy milk or almond milk. If you use dairy-milk it will curdle with the fruit and it won't look or taste appealing.

Super Simple and delicious. I doubled the recipe and stored it in the fridge in a glass jar. Kept well, I did shake it before serving again.
